W ith over a thousand years of tradition, our world-class Provencal wines and olive oils are finally coming to the United States.
Our vineyards only grow Noble Grape varieties that are harvested by hand and carefully sorted on location. With our commitment to conservation, all of our wines and oils are pressed and made by hand with the same traditions used over centuries. Our Boutique cellar brings our products to you and invites you to taste and experience all that we have to offer.
Domaine Souviou encompasses over 75 hectares of land, including untouched woodland and hills. The property is overlooked by the 15th century Chateau, stones terraces, running rivers, and surrounding nature. Fully restored and brought back to life by owner and Polytechnic Engineer, Roger Jaar. While walking around the property, guests are transported back to the Renaissance era, with sprawling hills covered in olive trees - some over a thousand years old.
D omaine Souviou’s vineyards are planted with noble grape varieties such as Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Carignan. Sustainable farming methods are used in order to show the utmost respect for the land and to produce the most natural products. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted and trimmed at the entrance of the cellar. The red wines are aged in oak barrels and the rosés and whites in stainless steel vats in order to help them retain all their freshness and fruitiness.
Domaine Souviou contains over 6,000 olive trees including 12 different varietals from which we produce our olive oil. This includes trees that are over 1,000 years old!
